Zandali, some times referred to simply as Troll, is the language all troll tribes speak. There are local dialects of course, but trolls from all over the world are able to communicate with ease. It is a melodic language with surprising complexity, relying heavily on compound words. This is used with people's names as well, to the point where few trolls are known simply by their given names. Jungle troll names in particular tend to be only one or two syllables, since it is expected that various prefixes and suffixes will be added with time. These additions can be anything from reverential titles to lighthearted nicknames. It is not unheard of that some people drop their original name altogether and become known simply by their titles, the most well known case being that of Zul'jin.
